  • About Us

    The Lazy Mule Laundry Service was founded by Alex Russell, Bryan Solar, and Michael King, students in the class of 2008 at Colby College. They shared a similar disdain for the tediousness of laundry night, and originally conceived of the idea as a way of freeing themselves and their friends from this displeasure. It soon dawned on them that this service could be offered to the whole student body, allowing the entire campus to be freed from the chains of the laundry timer. That day, Lazy Mule Laundry was born.

    Soon thereafter, Lazy Mule established a partnership with the Highlander Laundromat so that all student laundry would be professionally cleaned and processed to highest  possible quality.

    Peter Stone and Hamdi Sheriff took Lazy Mule Laundry to new heights during their tenure and they have passed ownership on to Thomas Abe. Thomas Abe will continue to grow Lazy Mule Laundry and provide excellent service to Colby students.
